07 - Place the plain dough rectangle on the bottom, then red, then green layers; trim edges to align evenly.
08 - Roll the stacked dough from the long side into a tight log, removing parchment as you go; optionally roll in colored sanding sugar.
09 - Wrap the log tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.
