01 - 2 cans (15 oz each) black beans, drained and rinsed
02 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
03 - 1/2 cup sour cream
04 - 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
05 - 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
06 - 1 teaspoon ground cumin
07 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
08 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
09 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
→ Decoration & Serving
10 - 1/2 cup sliced black olives (for bat eyes)
11 - 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (for garnish)
12 - 1 cup baby carrots
13 - 1 cup cucumber slices
14 - 2 cups blue corn tortilla chips (for wings)
15 - 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional garnish)
# How to Make It:
01 - In a food processor, blend black beans, garlic, sour cream, lime juice, cilantro, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
02 - Transfer the bean mixture to a large serving platter and spread it into bat shapes or one large bat about 1/2 inch thick using a spatula.
03 - Place two sliced black olives on each bat to mimic eyes. Optionally, place small pieces of cherry tomato or cheddar cheese inside olive slices for pupils.
04 - Arrange blue corn tortilla chips along each side of the bats to resemble wings.
05 - Surround the bats with baby carrots, cucumber slices, and remaining cherry tomatoes for a festive presentation.
06 - Serve immediately with extra chips and vegetables for dipping.
